GG-13 or GG-14: which titanium dial should I choose?

Choose GG-13 if you prefer a darker dial presentation; consider GG-14 if you want the brighter natural tone. Compare the photographs in similar lighting and pay attention to contrast with the hands, not just the pattern. The individual crystalline pattern varies, so a reference photograph cannot show the exact grain of every delivered dial.

Is aged steel the same as bronze patina?

No. The aged-steel finish on GG-15 and GG-16 gives a weathered appearance to a steel case. It is a different material choice from the bronze cases in our bronze watch and patina guide. Choose bronze if its changing surface is part of the appeal; choose a Genesis for its steel case and the dial treatment you prefer.

Will the 44mm Genesis fit a smaller wrist?

The most useful starting point is its 53mm lug-to-lug length, alongside the 44mm case diameter. Compare that length with a watch you already wear comfortably. A 53mm span may project beyond the top of a narrower wrist even if you are used to a similar case diameter. Wrist shape, the way the lugs turn down and strap adjustment all affect the result.

Record your wrist circumference at your normal wearing position.
Measure the length between the outer lug tips of your current watch and note whether it already reaches the edges of your wrist.
Check strap length and hole placement separately. Genesis has 24mm lug width, which is not a wrist-size rating.
Allow for the domed crystal when thinking about shirt cuffs. Confirm total height if clearance is important to you.

Is the preorder deposit the full watch price?

No. For example, the GG-11 listing shows a €409 deposit plus a €400 balance, making a €809 preorder total. The balance-only listing is for an existing preorder; it does not purchase a complete watch by itself. Compare the full total, amount due now and delivery terms for your chosen reference.

What happens if I leave an automatic watch unworn?

It can stop when its stored power runs down. Follow the movement instructions to wind and set it before wearing it again. Automatic winding depends on wear; it does not mean the watch will run indefinitely in a drawer.

Can I use the supplied leather strap for swimming?

Use the correct water-use guidance for the watch and a suitable water-friendly strap. Gruppo Gamma advises securing the screw-down crown and avoiding leather straps in water; see its official ownership FAQ. A water-resistance rating does not make the leather strap waterproof.

Is November delivery guaranteed?

November 2026 is the expected shipping window currently stated for these preorders. Treat it as an estimate and check the live listing or contact us if you need the watch for a particular date.
